Selling Merchandise with Tickets

Boost revenue by selling merchandise alongside ticket purchases.

Setting Up Merchandise

  1. Go to your event's Manage page
  2. Navigate to the Merchandise tab
  3. Click Add Merchandise Item

Creating Products

Basic Information

  • Name: Product title (e.g., "Event T-Shirt")
  • Description: What the customer is buying
  • Price: Cost per item
  • Image: Product photo (recommended 800x800px)

Inventory

  • Stock Quantity: How many you have available
  • Track Inventory: Toggle to auto-decrement stock
  • Low Stock Alert: Get notified when running low

Variants

For products with options (size, color):

  1. Click Add Variant
  2. Create options:
    • Size: S, M, L, XL, XXL
    • Color: Black, White, Navy
  3. Set individual stock per variant

Checkout Experience

When merchandise is enabled:

  1. Customer selects tickets
  2. Merchandise step appears after ticket selection
  3. Customer adds items to cart (optional)
  4. Combined checkout with tickets

  • Calculate: Product cost + shipping + margin
  • Typical margin: 50-100%

Value-Based

  • Limited edition items command premium
  • Event-exclusive pricing

Bundle Deals

  • "Ticket + T-Shirt" combo discount
  • Group merchandise packages

Fulfillment Options

At-Event Pickup (Recommended)

  • Customer collects at venue
  • No shipping costs
  • Reduces no-shows

Pre-Event Shipping

  • Ship before event date
  • Add shipping costs to price
  • Collect shipping address at checkout

Post-Event Shipping

  • Ship after event
  • Allows for event-dated merchandise

Managing Orders

View Merchandise Orders

  1. Go to Analytics tab
  2. Filter by Merchandise Orders
  3. See items, quantities, and sizes

Fulfillment Tracking

  • Mark orders as shipped/picked up
  • Track inventory in real-time
  • Export order list for fulfillment
